    Neenah is actively searching for a Senior Director of Finance to join our Finance Team in our corporate office in Alpharetta, GA.  Partnering with Senior Leadership, the Senior Director will lead the business unit finance function by providing financial insight, analysis, and advice on business decisions and opportunities while ensuring financial reporting is timely, accurate, and well-controlled. This is a high-profile, hands on role where the Senior Director will consult with senior leaders on various financial matters such as capital planning, acquisition due diligence, partnerships, optimization of financial revenue and margin opportunities, and market and product competitive analysis in order to achieve short and long-term business and financial goals. To be successful in this role, the incoming must possess critical thinking skills, have strong business acumen, the ability to partner with multiple Senior Leaders in a fast-paced matrixed environment (both local and remote), strong leadership skills and have a proven track record in leading a profitable $400M+business unit.


    Contribute to achieving or exceeding targeted business performance

    • Serve as a key business partner, providing financial perspective and support that informs strategic direction and execution
    • Integral involvement with sales and marketing on driving business growth, serving as a primary advisor on customer programs, incentive structures, and opportunities to drive profitable volume
    • Collaborate with business, operations, and corporate teams leveraging the Diagnostics process on cost savings opportunities and investments, including M&A targets


    Ensure effective analysis and communication of business results

    • Leverage existing and develop new processes and tools to provide timely and actionable financial and operational information to business leaders and decision-makers that clearly illustrates how performance deviates from plan and prior year
    • Meaningful and valued communication of business plans, performance, and insights through a monthly financial package, quarterly business reviews, annual and strategic plans, as well as other forums


    Develop, maintain, and lead an effective financial organization

    • Ensure a successful finance organization staffed with capable individuals through organizational design, recruiting, and development of individuals; rewarding good performance and addressing underperformers
    • Provide and encourage training, coaching, and growth opportunities to improve skill sets and retain talent


    Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting of segment results

    • Work with corporate and support mill accounting teams to report business results timely and accurately
    • Partner with Corporate Accounting on month-end closing, quarterly SEC reporting, SOX compliance, tax department requests, etc.
    • Foster a culture of control and direct compliance with GAAP and internal control policies


    Financial planning and forecasting

    • Lead development of forecasts, annual plans, and strategic plans
    • Review financial results with business unit leadership team and discuss opportunities for improvement


    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; Finance preferred
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify, define and solve business problems
    • Minimum ten years’ experience applying financial principals to business operations
    • Minimum 5+years in pure finance roles with increasing responsibility such as FP&A, Budgeting, Forecasting and SG&A or combination of experience
    • Minimum 5+years’ experience with complex financial models desired
    • A successful candidate will have excellent financial analysis abilities, a high degree of initiative and intellectual curiosity
    • Experience with financial systems and strong EXCEL skills
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Experience with large ERP preferred
