    Neenah Filtration Appleton is actively seeking a Filtration Account Executive. 


    This position is focused on continuously improving the performance of the existing business and capturing new opportunities within the North American market. This is a role with high visibility and frequent senior management contact.



    Job Dimensions


    • Works directly with all business units of Neenah Filtration
    • Responsible for new business development for transportation filtration
    • Coordination with key account leaders for other regions (Europe and Asia)


    Principal Accountabilities

    • Establishes and maintains cordial and effective relationships with key personnel at assigned accounts in purchasing, R & D and management areas
    • Grows sales by providing solutions and excellent service to the customer
    • Negotiates and resolves issues which arise at customer on matters relating to product performance, pricing, service, etc.
    • Organizes, coordinates and conducts customer sales presentation
    • Develops sales growth plans. Continually evaluates sales and open orders against budget for management of overall sales goals. Implements actions as appropriate
    • Provides reports as requested by management including: Sales Call Reports; Monthly Reports; New Business Opportunity Reports; Annual budgeting
    • As directed by Sales Management, establishes and maintains cordial and effective relationships with internal product management, customer service and key global contacts. Because there is potential for customer base to have global manufacturing locations, ability and desire to work with key Neenah global personnel concerning business requirements is essential in this position
    • Communicates competitive developments in his/her territory regarding marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and communicates intelligence to management
    • Coordinates Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service in support of validation trials and customer trials
    • Required to be proactive in maintaining appropriate knowledge base of product lines of global Neenah manufacturing competencies, along with knowledge of allied and customer industries
    • Negotiates and resolves issues which arise at the customer on matters relating to product performance, pricing, service, etc.



    Education and Certifications

    •  Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related/relevant professional experience is required

    Knowledge and Experience

    • Strong technical backround, engineering degree, or technical application sales is preferred
    • Knowledge of papermaking is a plus
    • 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and/or Marketing preferred
    • Excellent process development and process implementation skills
    • Passion for learning selling best-practices, and contract negotiation
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Computer Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Strong organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills to effectively manage business growth
    • Spanish language skills are a strong preference
