    Neenah is growing and actively searching for a Process Engineer to provide process, quality, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement support for all manufacturing activities throughout the facility.  Ideal candidates have the attitude, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills to support Neenah’s collaborative, high-achievement culture.

    Responsibilities

    • Safety and Quality
      • Exercise personal leadership to provide a safe and healthy workplace for employees and conform to all applicable local, state, and federal laws governing loss control.
    • Productivity and Cost
      • Prepare and manage projects to meet time, cost, quality and performance objectives that ensure continuity of a leading edge manufacturing facility.
    • Environmental Compliance
      • Provide support for Corporate Environmental Performance Standards and assist in maintaining the facility environmental plan/compliance schedule
    • Continuous Improvement Program
      • Provide support for ongoing development and implementation of cost improvement plans and programs that ensure a competitive and profitable manufacturing facility. This will involve prioritizing and resolving long standing quality issues by driving to root cause and implementing corrective actions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5 years of industrial experience in one or several areas including Operations, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Continuous Improvement
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
    • Aptitude to develop technical expertise and the ability to efficiently and accurately process a high volume of detailed workload
    • Excellent computer skills (including Excel and Word)
    • Prior experience in initiating and implementing cost savings projects a distinct plus
    • Willingness to embody the Neenah culture of collaboration, challenge and support
