    The US Payroll Analyst/Specialist is responsible for the full life-cycle hourly payroll operations and will support Neenah’s US payroll solutions. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Analyst/Specialist will analyze data for accuracy and process payroll to be in compliance with federal and state regulations, audit, identify and correct data inaccuracies, and provide basic administrative support for self-service. The Payroll Analyst/Specialist will work closely with local HR Business Partners and Mill Payroll Coordinators to update/review time cards for accuracy, Benefits and our third party payroll provider.   


    Process full life-cycle payroll operations for hourly US based employees to correctly and timely generate payroll checks, deposits, files and reports.

    • Review and receive payroll updates from manufacturing/mill locations.
    • Process timecard data in Neenah’s timekeeping system, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL).
    • Coordinate with 3rd party benefit providers to receive and review payroll updates.
    • Work with Neenah’s payroll provider to review the payroll for accuracy.
    • Prepare payroll/treasury related wire request to fund the payroll.

    Perform non-payroll cycle updates and tasks.

    • Assist employees with self-service access and password resets
    • Review payroll and tax related mail and respond accordingly
    • Collaborate with internal customers (benefit and finance teams) and provide information related to payroll requests and questions

    Partner with manufacturing/mill locations to assist with OTL.

    • Partner and communicate with local mill timecard authorizers to ensure timecards are approved timely and accurately.
    • Team with local mill payroll coordinators to confirm OTL data is ready to process.
    • Receive and enter payroll data related to vacation payouts, shoe reimbursements and other non-timecard items.


    College Degree preferred.

    Minimum five (5) years of full payroll cycle experience required.
    Benefit deduction retro calculation and issue resolution required.
    Ceridian experience preferred.

    Oracle, SAP or other Cloud- Based system preferred.

    Experience with weekly frequency and union payrolls preferred.
