The IT Analyst at Neenah will work closely with our current infrastructure team and business users.  Ideal candidates have the attitude, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills to support Neenah’s collaborative, high-achievement culture. This position supports daily business activities by maintaining computer and IT systems, local and wide area networks, and will troubleshoot hardware and network-related issues as required to accomplish Neenah’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Apply a broad range of computer technical knowledge and expertise of IT principles, practices and policies to complete user requests and assignments from IT Leadership in a timely manner
  • Provide IT guidance, technical leadership, and training to the Neenah user community
  • Purchase and manage PC's, PC OS, PC business suite software, printers, radio frequency scanners, local file/print server, Active Directory server, network switches, routers, wireless access points, videoconferencing and phone systems to maintain a stable IT infrastructure
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to adequately relate IT activities and objectives
  • Execute sufficient evaluation, planning and organization skills in the performance of project tasks
  • Establish proper documentation for computer, mobile devices and network hardware inventories, network topologies and important routine procedures
  • Continue to improve technical knowledge and skillset through webinars, on-line and off-site training and by reading IT related periodicals
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrate a high level of organizational sensitivity when addressing issues which require tact and confidentiality
  • Demonstrate awareness and practice strong IT Security practices
  • Search for opportunities for process improvement and take steps to bring about positive change

Qualifications

  • Entry level to mid level position, on the job experience very welcome!
  • Degree or certifications in computer science, management information systems, engineering or IT fields are always welcome but not required!
  • Experience in the following areas is recommended:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, Telnet, Oracle/Java, and Cisco networking equipment
  • Analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Hardware troubleshooting abilities with desktop and laptop computers
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
