Neenah Performance Materials is actively searching for a RAINMAKER who will be responsible to grow our Performance Materials Coating business. This requires an individual with the ability and desire to sell value add products and services as we are using our technical expertise to design differentiated products by matching substrate, coating chemistry and capable assets.


We're not looking for order takers, we're only hiring a RAINMAKER.





  • Achieve growth of the Performance Materials Coating by seeking out and securing new business on the available time on the PM coating assets.
  • Solicit, develop and maintain an effective and profitable customer base including identification of new product opportunities for appraisal and consideration by the Management Team.
  • Manage consistent solutions to customer service and technical problems and needs, balancing company sales and production strategy with customer satisfaction.
  • Share information on the status of customer needs/problems fully with members of the team, including manufacturing, QA, customer service and marketing. This includes timely trip reports and informal communication leading to translation of customer needs into usable technical specifications.
  • Increase business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Collect customer feedback and market research
  • Manage complete portfolio of accounts
  • Qualify prospects and pipeline management
  • Attend relevant trade shows and customer supplier events and workshops


  • Bachelor degree in business, or related field or discipline
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in the papermaking, nonwovens or coating technical products industries.
  • Demonstrated, fundamental knowledge of the papermaking, nonwovens or technical products manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with growing business volume and increasing revenues
  • Ability to manage projects and work with cross –functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability of taking conceptual ideas and turning them into tangible products
