Neenah has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager - Marketing Communications to join our Fine, Paper and Packaging team in our corporate office in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, the Senior Manager -Marketing Communications will provide strategy and direction for all Marketing Communications Touch Points including:  Advertising, Tradeshows, Public Relations, Social Channels, Email and Direct Mail Marketing, Content and all fine paper websites. 

 

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities are:

  • Determining strategic advertising plans, sponsorships and attaining valuable partnerships.
  • Identifying, developing and implementing strategies to help deliver sales revenue above current market performance and track ROI of marketing programs to measure effectiveness.
  • Develop the Marketing Communications team’s capabilities through providing challenging opportunities and mentoring to drive employee development.

Additional responsibilities include: 

  • Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Content Management Strategy, & Tradeshows
    • Manages, develops, implements and measures integrated marketing campaigns that will enhance Neenah’s image and position within the marketplace and general public
    • Researches industry trends, social media/engagement tools and use them within in targeted integrated marketing campaigns
    • Develops the voice for all aspects of Neenah’s campaigns and content
    • Identifies new content opportunities and ways to repurpose existing content throughout the Neenah marketing communications plan including but not limited to: online, blog, social, articles, white papers, advertising and tradeshows
    • Represent Neenah at National Tradeshows and Events including potential public speaking engagements
  • Strategic Advertising, Sponsorships and Partnerships
    • Establish an advertising plan to create interest in Neenah’s paper and packaging products. Encourage response rates and traffic through applicable campaigns.
    • Promote Neenah through procuring strategic partnerships with companies that align with Neenah’s premium products and audiences
    • Discover and develop sponsorships that promote the Neenah brand effectively and reach audiences that are both our core and our target 
  • Online Marketing, Ecommerce, SEO/SEM, Email
    • Responsible for the development and performance of the online business by working with key people within the organization as well as 3rd party agencies on aggressive growth targets, new technologies and refresh/revision opportunities
    • Support all aspects of Neenah’s online presence including strategy development, implementation, optimization, reporting and analysis to ensure that campaigns are built around the marketing goals and expand Neenah’s visibility and profitability
    • Direct ecommerce strategy including price and campaign management with an understanding of our customers and competitors
    • Track progress and ROI of marketing campaigns including nurturing campaigns, national batch/blast e-mails, paid search campaigns (PPC, retargeting and remarketing, & social) 
  • Additional Requirements:

    • Comfortable representing Neenah in 1:1 & Public Speaking Engagements
    • Excellent Written & Communication Skills
    • Strong Relationship Builder with Internal & External Teams
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work with competing deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
    • Strong understanding of how to market a “Premium Brand” including the ability to give Creative Direction with an “Eye for Design”
    • Proven Budget Management Capabilities
    • Demonstrated ROI from past Marketing Communications Campaigns
    • 8-10 years of Marketing Communications Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university required.  MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marketing communication
  • High level collaborator who has the ability to manage a matrixed environment
  • Up to 25% travel may be required 
  • Ability to understand and to articulate premium products
