Neenah Paper has an exciting opportunity for a Transfer Planner/Analyst at it's Neenah Service Center located in Neenah, WI. 


The Transfer Planner is responsible for the management of material flow and transfer activities within the Neenah Paper organizations and manages work in process inventory levels for make and stock items to support business objectives and business plans.


In addition, this position is responsible for initiating and supporting continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives in the areas of processing efficiency and inventory management. Expected to lead and/or participate in various projects which support achieving team objectives.


Three core responsibilities for this position.

Material Transfer

  • Ensure flow of material to support needs of the finite schedule.
  • Create and monitor all system transfer information in accordance with the manufacturing plan.
  • Work with shipping departments and other planners to move material between facilities
  • Coordinate transportation for material movement between outsourced warehouses.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain / Analyze Managed inventory items to ensure timely fulfillment of inventory levels.
  • Analyze stocking levels to balance customer service, cost and inventory investment.

Order Expediting

  • Work with Customer Service and planners to ensure orders are being filled.
  • Track and provide feedback on late orders
  • Proactively manage backorders by working with planners and operations.

Education and/or Experience :

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years planning/supply chain experience preferred within related fields.
  • Oracle ERP experience a plus
