Neenah is actively searching for a Channel Marketing Manager to support our Fine Paper and Packaging business. The Channel Marketing Manager will support the sales team to drive profitable sales through use of category management concepts, channel management, insights, data analysis and brand strategies. This includes account strategy planning and preparation; ownership of key insights; and development of customer marketing programs.

Responsibilities

Own account strategy planning and preparation. Serve as a strategic partner with Sales Account Managers to effectively sell Neenah products.

  • Act as a strategic thought partner for Sales Account Managers to determine goals, strategies and tactics by customer
  • Execute selling strategy and drive customer intimacy
  • Help drive customer planning process and conduct situation analysis
  • Execute category management concepts to maximize sales and customize approach based on key customer needs
  • Provide customers with product mix recommendations and solutions

Own insights for Neenah’s key verticals, product categories, competitive landscape, and addressable market.

  • Determine and engage key research tools and resources to provide a dashboard of insights
  • Create turnkey resources for the sales team
  • Represent Neenah in customer meetings and present strategic insights to customers to position Neenah as an industry expert and customer partner

Lead development of customer programs and channel management that drive awareness, trial and repeat/incremental purchase

  • Work with sales and marketing to drive projects and programs that target awareness and trial of Neenah products and capabilities
  • Brand ambassador that ensures consistent market messaging to customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university required.  MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years marketing experience; ideally in channel management, brand management or insights preferred.
  • High level collaborator who has the ability to manage a matrixed environment
  • Up to 25% travel may be required 
  • Ability to understand and to articulate premium products.
