Overview

Neenah Paper is actively searching for an individual with Big Box Retail experience to join our team as a National Sales Manager. This is a high profile position requiring heavy customer/client focus and solutions selling experience to build strategies and drive sales and profitability targets for large retail accounts. Individuals with a hunter mentality, ability to identify client needs and can network within a matrixed environment, will do well.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management - represent Neenah well in the field; primary face of Neenah to the customer, address concerns, identify opportunities for growth with existing customers, raise awareness to the team about potential issues before they occur
  • Identify potential opportunities for growth inside and outside existing customer base; work with marketing to help develop and implement new product placement and promotions
  • Use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits
  • Provide accurate forecasts to Neenah demand planning team. Continue to improve forecast accuracy and process.
  • Negotiates and manages customer programs to create customer and company value by consistently measuring and enforcing terms and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Leverages our brands and product mix to improve profitability and meet customer, shopper, and Neenah targets
  • Develop and execute Customer & Category Strategic Development and annual operating plan

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Minimum 5 – 8 years B2B LARGE BIG BOX RETAIL sales experience required.
  • 50 – 75% travel to meet clients. 
  • Ability to understand and to articulate premium products.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills required.
  • Hunter mentality with a proven track record to seek and develop new business.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for tracking and organization to lead develop and order.
